Love from Virgin Australia

Friends at Sydney Airport

Love comes in many different forms.

Some say that Valentine’s Day is about flowers and chocolates and spending time with the people we love.

While that may be true, Valentine’s Day also got us thinking into what “love” is to us.

Love, is shown publicly at airports around Australia (and the world), every day, when travellers reconnect. Friends reconnect with friends, mum’s reconnect with sons, dad’s reconnect with daughters, and lovers reconnect with partners.

As an airline, we love that we play an important part in bringing people together. A large percentage of our passengers fly with us to see their family and friends, they may be flying to Australia from overseas, or a shorter domestic flight between states.

We are proud to be a part of making those moments happen for people flying with us, and even more privileged that we were allowed to film a few of these moments one particular night at Sydney International Airport. It’s these moments that are special, and we thank those that allowed us to share in their moment.

George A. Moore once said ‎”A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it,” we love that you choose us to help you make that happen.

Yes I love travelling to Perth to see my son, daughter-in-law and the two most gorgeous grandkids in the world !!!Their little faces smiling and looking up to me and big kisses all around. I always carry a teddy and pressies with me to make my trip worthwhile and just to tell them I love them.

Soon we are flying with you from Adelaide to Brisbane to celebrate our grand-daughter’s birthday. We’ve not been able to travel together for the past 10 years due to caring for our elderly parents. This year, our 40th wedding anniversary, It will be so nice to travel as a couple again to join in celebrations with our family.

I recently flew to Brisbane from Newcastle to visit my 2 sons and for the reason that it was my oldest sons 13th birthday. I only had 3 hours before my return flight so we spent the hours in the airport. They loved the hungry jacks and the special trip to Krispy Kreme. It was so good to see them. I was then able to travel home business class where I was totally spoilt with yummy food and great service. Thankyou Virgin Australia!
